The guys at Sheffield Hallam approached us with a fairly rough brief and asked if we could help build something a bit special. They sent us a fairly detailed drawing and we went back to them with an estimated cost.
Between us we revised and refined the plan several times until they were happy with the desired look and layout of the space.
We then built what they wanted using the materials they requested. If you have ever installed a kitchen or similar you’ll know that the designers render can only give an idea of how the finished space will look, it was much the same with this job. Everyone liked the renders but the finished stand was so much better than they expected. It was a real pleasure seeing their faces when they saw the finished stand. Learning that they had won “best in show” for the stand was the icing on the cake!
A stand for De Montford University involved cladding all the walls of the stand with 12mm OSB and building a Z shaped display table some 5m long.
For Carmarthen School of Art we built two large display units, again in OSB with vinyl graphics.
